The vicious cycle
By Donnie Ott(c) 2002
It's saturday morning, there's not a damn thing to do, I got hammered last night, Oh' SHIT...Not another tattoo! I can't remember gettin home or leavin' the bar, I don't have the slightest idea. Where the hell is the car?
I started with a pocket full of money, where the hell's all my cash? Boy, the ole' lady is gonna have my ass! I say I'm gonna quit each and every week, then end up blowing chunks in the sink.
It's late in the day, I'm feelin the same. I drank so much I dammaged my brain. I called my buddy to see what I did, he said I was bad, just like a kid. He wanted to know what shape I woke in 'cause I was dancing on tables butt naked! He took me home, said we were about to fight. He said I kept trying to screw his wife!
It's saturday evening, the ole' lady forgave me again. Thank god I still have my very best friend. My head's finally clearing up. I start to think "Maybe I'll have just one little drink."
Well, it's sunday morning, what can I say my friend? I went out last night and did it again.
